Brewer Track and Field athletes advance to Area Meet

Several Brewer High School athletes medaled at the District 5-5 Track Meet and qualified for the Area Track Meet Friday, April 11at Aledo High School.

The girls team won fourth place overall, and they will advance to Area. The following girls and teams medaled: 

• Aaliyah Williams - first place, 400m dash;
• Aaliyah Williams - second, 800m run;
• Madison Carrol - fourth, 1600m run;
• 4x400m Relay Team of Aaliyah Williams, Saryiah Page, Janiah Johnson, Madison Carroll - third; and 
• 4x200m Relay Team of Delayah Carey, Isabella Sanchez, Rita Ismaili, Saryiah Page, Janiah Johnson - fourth

Boys Area Qualifiers are:

• Marteese Williams - second, 300 Hurdles & third, 110 Hurdles; 
• 4x400m Relay Team of Braylon Brown, Devon Roberts, Ty Salas and Marteese Williams - fourth; and 
• 4x200 Relay Team of Braylon Brown, Devon Roberts, Ty Salas and Marteese Williams - fifth

Cameron Carr took fifth in the Long Jump and sixth Triple Jump.

Landon Perez earned sixth in the Discus and Shot Put.

Head Coaches are Daniel Foster and William Rash. Assistants are: Tyler Weeks, Tyler Jackson, Melissa Stripling, Meghan Brooks, Sonny Feexico and Sean Kenny.
