Cosmetology Quiz Bowl Teams advance to State SkillsUsa Competition

The Cosmetology Senior SkillsUSA Quiz bowl team won first place at the District Competition and placed top 4 out of 17 teams at the state level competition in Corpus Christi. Pictured are: Candy Espinoza, Melina Mecia, Liliana Avelar, Dayana Mejia and Alannah Salazar.
The Cosmetology Junior SkillsUSA Quiz Bowl team placed second at district, advancing to state.
After competition, both teams and advisors visited the popular Corpus Christi French Bakery together to celebrate! Pictured are: Alexis Richardson, Alannah Salazar, Candy Espinoza, Rockell Santos, Liliana Avelar, Melina Mecia, Dayana Mejia and Alexis White.
