Eight wrestlers advance to regionals

Eight Brewer wrestlers will compete in the Regional Tournament!
Eight Brewer High School Wrestling team members medaled at the District Tournament, advancing to Regionals Feb. 7 and 8.
Josue Cedeno won the District Championship for the second consecutive year, and Caleb Cedeno also took a first place medal for his weight division. Jaleel Johnson was District Runner-up; Landon Gentry, third; and Kaleb Garza, fourth, all qualifying for regionals.
Jackson Hukill earned sixth, and the boys finished sixth out of 22 teams.
Girls who qualified for regionals were: Daniela Estrada and Isabella Cristan, who placed third in their weight divisions, and Lexi Tayfel, who earned a fourth place medal.
Bridgette Rushing and Jaiden Vinson placed fifth, and Anastasia Solano earned sixth.
Head Coach is Sonny Feexico and assistant is Clint Bartel.
