Mayor declares March Theatre in Our Schools Month

It's Theatre in Our Schools Month! Let's share how important theatre programs are for our students!
White Settlement Mayor Faron Young issued a proclamation declaring March as Theatre in Our Schools Month. Brewer High School Theatre Thespian Troupe President Bronwyn Wright invited the mayor to present the proclamation during a recent after-school practice for the group’s UIL One-Act Play Competition. They will compete at 12 p.m. March 28 at Aledo High School.
The American Allegiance for Theatre and Education, the Educational Theatre Association, and the International Thespian Society partner to increase awareness regarding the value of theatre programs in schools. Visit the WSISD website for more information about our theatre programs.
