Students from every White Settlement ISD school showed participants how they use technology in the classroom during the 2nd annual Bear Bytes Technology Expo.
Individuals had the opportunity to go on a field trip using the virtual reality goggles, try out Smart Boards, code with Spheros and Ozobots (robots), and create videos with a green screen and iPads.
They also learned about drones and 3D printers, how to create video stories, play drums with DrumFit which blends technology and physical education, how to create a digital newspaper, and dissect a pig ... online.
Students taught participants how to use various apps and computer programs, and they learned digital citizenship through interactive games and videos.
Students use Dash robots to learn coding.
