The Brewer High School Fightin' Bear Band won the Area UIL Marching Competition on Dec. 5. 

This year's show is "Blue Phoenix" and features the music of Igor Stravinsky.

Featured performers are: Artur Kuchurivsky, Bassoon; Lucas Williams, French Horn; Mitchell Shulka, Euphonium; and Brennan Caraveau, Alto Saxophone. 

Drum Majors are Eric Amado, Matt Bradley, Erick Chico and Jacky Medina. Color Guard Captains are Valeria Aguilar and Nathaniel Esparza. Drumline Captain is Carter Kopacki.

Directors are Andrew Williams, Stephanie Ballaro, Keith Duke and Rachel Holland.
