Children at Risk ranked White Settlement ISD as the top school in the region in the 2022 Kroger School Food Rankings, which evaluate how districts across Texas provide meals to low-income school children.

 

The rankings recognize districts that go above and beyond to provide nutritious meals to students. It focuses on meal participation rates and after-school meal programs offered in each district.

 

In addition to the school breakfast and lunch programs, WSISD offers an after-school Supper Program for Brewer High School students, and the district partners with the Tarrant Area Food Bank to provide a monthly drive-thru food distribution.

 

Several schools also partner with local churches to provide snack packs for the weekend to students in need.
