Fifth and sixth grade Tannahill Intermediate students in the WSISD Dual Language program recently competed in the Spanish Spelling Bee.

Alessandra Garcia won first place, and she’ll advance to the Region 11 Spanish Spelling Bee on  March 24. Angela Montelongo took second.

Other competitors were: Marc Ortega, Sam Falk, Everett Covington, Jeremiah Cazarez, Justin Hernandez, Lola Luchack and Alessandra Garcia.
