Monday, Feb. 19 is a Staff Development Day! Students will not attend school! The Brewer Bear boys' basketball team will play Denton High for the Bi-District Playoff Championship at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 20. The game will be at Byron Nelson High School.

Career and Technical Education Camps Teach Kids Movie Making, Cooking and Robotics

The Brewer High School Career and Technical Education (CTE) Department hosted its first CTE summer camps June 12 to 15. Fourth through sixth graders were able to select from a variety of programs and complete projects throughout the week. 

The Movie Making/Photography Club created music videos, with the students directing, shooting, and editing the videos over the course of the week.

Robotics Camp participants built solar powered fans and robots and constructed clocks powered by potatoes and more.

The Cooking Club campers made cupcakes, candies, and other snacks throughout the week.

High school students from the Career and Technology Student Organizations, along with Brewer instructors, facilitated the camps.
