Qualifying Families Can Receive Free School Supplies, Haircuts and More
Pre-Register July 21 or 27

Qualifying White Settlement ISD students can receive free school supplies, haircuts and much more during the Annual Tarrant County Back to School Roundup.

The WSISD Family Resource Center will have pre-registration on Saturday, July 21 from 10 a.m. to noon or Friday, July 27 from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. (Pre-registration for the roundup is required. This is not registration to attend school.)

School-age children ages four through 18 who reside in Tarrant County and whose families meet the 2018 Federal Poverty Income Guidelines will receive free school supplies at the Roundup on Thursday, Aug. 9 from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. in the Will Rogers Memorial Center in Fort Worth.

The event will also provide free:
  • backpacks to children in grades pre-kindergarten through 12th grade.
  • haircuts for school children.
  • dental screenings, fluoride applications, free toothbrushes and toothpaste for students.
  • immunizations for school children.
  • health screenings and services for both school children and their families.
  • kids activities, games and interactive demonstrations and booths.
  • community resource booths with information on such topics as literacy, parenting, nutrition, financial literacy, fire safety, and social services.
