Brewer Athletic Department Implements Changes to Medical Clearance Requirements for Athletes; Baseline Testing to be Offered Aug. 20

UPDATED Aug. 19, 2018

If your child will participate in athletics in grades 7 through 12, please review the attached information regarding changes in requirements for Medical Clearance to participate in athletics for the 2018-2019 school year.

Middle School students will not be required to take the baseline test.

For all high school students who have not taken their required baseline testing,
we will have times available on:

    • Monday, Aug. 20: 10 a.m., 11 a.m. and Noon

The test requires 45 minutes to complete and will be administered by the athletic training staff at the Ben Davis Athletic Complex.

Please come by and schedule a time to participate in testing to assure availability or contact the Sports Medicine Department with questions. Students who have not completed all required paperwork and/or do not have a valid baseline test on file will not be cleared to participate in athletics until completed.

If you have any questions, please feel free to contact the Sports Medicine Department at 817.367.4196.

Respectfully,
