Tannahill Student Wins WSISD Education Foundation's Annual Field Goal Challenge

contestants in the WSISD Education Foundation's field goal challengeThe WSISD Education Foundation sponsored its annual Field Goal Challenge during the Sept. 28 Bears' football game. One boy and one girl from every elementary school and Tannahill Intermediate was selected to compete. Tannahill's Brennan Maitlen kicked the furthest field goal and won a $250 check for her school.

Contestants were: Caitlyn Brown and Brennan Ball, Blue Haze Elementary; Daniella Estrada and Cobi Watkins, Liberty Elementary; Naila Vega and Colton Ryals, North Elementary; Emme Strathmeyer and Weston Dryfhout, West Elementary; Alexa Suhr and David Camacho, Fine Arts Academy; and Brennan Maitlen and Damien Merida, Tannahill Intermediate.
