Families & community invited to Let's Taco 'Bout It Night Wednesday, March 4 with Free Tacos from 5-6 p.m. & Fun and Interactive Breakout Sessions from 6-7:30 p.m. at Brewer High School!

Let's Taco 'Bout It Night

The WSISD HOPE Squads invite our students, staff, families and the community to Let's Taco 'Bout It Night Wednesday, March 4, 2020.

Join us for free tacos from 5 to 6 p.m., and then attend a variety of 20-minute, fun, engaging and interactive breakout sessions presented by our Brewer High School HOPE Squad members.

Individuals of all ages will have fun learning stress relief techniques, coping skills, better ways to communicate, the signs of depression and suicide and much more!

"This won't be your sit and get kind of night," said Desiree Coyle, District HOPE Squad Advisor. "This night is designed to get everyone ... young, old and in between ...  motivated to learn how we can help others as well as ourselves."

Having a "ruff" day? Take some time out with the WSISD comfort dogs. Or, step into the Stress Relief Room for yoga and breathing techniques. Not sure how to express your emotions? Learn how to get your emotions from the Inside ... Out. Want to have more meaningful relationships? You will in Dive Deep!

The event will be at Brewer High School, located at 1025 W. Loop 820 North. Enter on the northwest side at the cafeteria.

"We must talk about how we can prevent suicide in our community," said Coyle. "We ALL play a vital role, and we're going to use this night to bring everyone together and have fun while we get equipped to help our kids and our town."

A full list of sessions is coming soon!
