To prepare for future enrollment growth and to ensure the sustainability and expansion of WSISD facilities and programs, White Settlement ISD recently developed a Long Range Facilities Planning Committee. The committee consists of 50-plus parents and community and business representatives who reside in the district.
Over a three-month period, committee members will discuss and evaluate information that highlights student performance information, financial data, demographics, facility needs and more.
With the help of a neutral facilitator, committee members will work together to make decisions through an equitable process. The ultimate outcome is development of a bond package recommendation for presentation to the WSISD Board of Trustees this summer and to the WSISD community for a vote in November of 2021.
