WSISD uses the Standard Response Protocol (SRP) safety program. Staff members are trained in the protocol, and students and staff participate in drills. The SRP is based on four actions: Hold, Secure, Lockdown, Evacuate and Shelter. SRP provides a common language for both schools and local law enforcement agencies.
