How do your donations help our kids?

Innovative Teaching Grants
  + $275,000 since Foundation's inception
  The WSISD Education Foundation has awarded more than $275,000 in Innovative Teaching Grants to educators since its inception.
    Staff members who contribute to the foundation's Blue Jean Incentive program have the opportunity to apply for innovative teaching grants that are awarded every August at the WSISD Convocation.
    The foundation awards another round of Innovative Teaching Grants every December that are solely funded by the annual Golf Tournament.  
 
Hats Off Recognition Ceremony
  Annual Event Sponsor
  The Foundation honors Brewer High School's top 15 graduating seniors and the educators who impact them the most during a ceremony each May. This May, the foundation will begin recognizing 20 seniors, who also receive a new laptop.

Brewer High School Dual Credit Academy
  $1,500-$2,500 Annual Sponsor 
    Through Brewer High School's Dual Credit Academy, qualifying students have an opportunity to experience college-level coursework and prepares them for the university environment, while in a setting that provides high school support. Students can earn up to 60 college hours through the Academy.

WSISD Bear Tracks Meet
  $2,000 Annual Sponsor
    More than 300 special needs students participate in a district-wide track meet each spring.
 
Brewer High School PALS Mentoring Program
  $500 Annual Sponsor
   Junior and senior students in PALS learn Communication, Listening, and Facilitation Skills, Understanding Behavior, Decision-Making and Problem Solving, Referral Resources, and Self-Awareness. Students then serve as mentors to younger students and peers in the district, as well as numerous other community and school district service projects.
 
WSISD Special Olympics
  $1,500 Annual Sponsor 
   Students throughout WSISD have an opportunity to participate in Special Olympics each spring. 
 
Shattered Dreams
  2017 Sponsor and 2019 Sponsor ($2,500)
  Shattered Dreams includes the reenactment of a fatal, drunk driving scene in which students, parents, local law enforcement and emergency responders portray the events that lead up to a drunk driving accident and the ramifications that occur. 
 
Winter Sports Rally
  $250 ($500 total) awarded to 2 winning schools
