From the characters of the movie "Inside Out," learn how to respond, comfort and treat a friend who is sad, depressed or suicidal.

Local Outreach to Suicide Survivors Tarrant County
Target Audience: Adults and Teens

Hear about the free support services the LOSS Team offers and have an opportunity for open conversation with LOSS team members. LOSS Team provides support and resources, as well as an installation of hope, to survivors as close to the time of their loss as possible. LOSS Team members are available to provide postvention support and resources to bereaved loved ones after a sudden loss to suicide.

LOSS Team offers individual counseling and Survivors of Suicide Support Groups. The LOSS Team is a partnership of MHMR of Tarrant County and Mental Health Association of Greater Tarrant County, alongside local police departments.

Toxic Behaviors 
Target Audience: Adults and Teens

Parents and students will learn about the current drug trends (illegal and prescription drugs that are being seen in the school setting). Participants will also learn the warning signs for recognizing teens who might be under the influence as well as the steps parents can take to prevent drug use.
