BRRRewer Bear Plunge
The Dunkin' Donuts team took the plunge during the BRRRewer Bear Plunge on Jan. 27.
Brewer Middle School was the 1st place winner in the BRRRewer Bear Plunge fundraiser.
Blue Haze Elementary was the 3rd place winner in the BRRRewer Bear Plunge fundraiser.
North Elementary was the 2nd place winner in the BRRRewer Bear Plunge fundraiser.
Santa surprised WSISD educators when the Foundation awarded nearly $50,000 in Innovative Teaching Grants on Dec. 15, 2017.
The Foundation recognized AT&T with a Bear Trophy. The company awarded the Foundation with a $25,000 grant that funded STEM grants for Brewer High School educators.
The Foundation awarded the Fine Arts Academy's Loretta Haley with a $2,379.89 for the Full STEAM Ahead grant.
The Brewer High School drum line joined the Education Foundation to award the 2017-18 Innovative Teaching Grants.
Brewer High School's Michael Bodiford won a $10,000 AT&T STEM grant, Let There Be Light," to purchase science equipment.
North Elementary's Jessica Joergensen won a Time to Breakout grant to implement Break Out Educational Kits in her classroom.
The Foundation awarded $250 to the Fine Arts Academy for winning the Basketball Shootout at the Winter Sports Rally on Jan. 8, 2018.

The Foundation kicked off the school year by awarding nearly $14,000 in grants to educators who contribute to the Blue Jean Monday program.
The WSISD Education Foundation sponsored the Field Goal Challenge on Sept. 15, 2017, and Brewer Middle School won $250.
The WSISD Technology Department played in the 2017 Golf Tournament, which raised nearly $25,000 that fund Innovative Teaching Grants.
Brewer Middle School students were challenged to demonstrate their knowledge of reading by participating in an educational version of an escape room. Breakout EDU is a grant funded by the WSISD Education Foundation.
Tannahill Intermediate students learn simple coding with toy robots. Their teacher Kamella Lilly received a grant from the WSISD Education Foundation.
