Digital Citizenship in WSISD

Elementary and Intermediate
Students in grades 3 through 6 will engage in a new curriculum from Common Sense Media called Digital Passport! The week of October 16th is Digital Citizenship week. Expect to see Digital Citizenship letters and a Family Media Agreement come home with your child. The letter explains our new curriculum and the agreement is a conversation starter for your family about being a great Digital Citizen. Visit the links below to Common Sense Media and Digital Passport to learn more about the program and digital citizenry.

Secondary
Students at BMS and BHS received Digtial Citizenship lessons from our iSchool program contacts before receiving Dell laptops at the start of the school year. Our iSchool advocate students at BHS have followed up on digital citizenship learning through creating campus videos. Our iSchool advocate students at BMS have created campus posters as reminders of the tenants of a good digital citizen. View the BHS iSchool advocate videos below!
