Meal Pickup - Virtual Learners & Community Children

Meal distribution at North Elementary on Thursday, Feb. 11 is cancelled.

WSISD provides Free Meals for all Virtual Learner students as well as children in the community who do not attend WSISD. All students can receive one free breakfast and lunch meal every school day. To support families who have been impacted financially during the COVID-19 pandemic, the US Department of Agriculture will provide funding for all public school districts who elect to participate in this opportunity. 

Students are not required to be in the vehicle; however, there are specific guidelines for picking up meals when the child is not in the car. Click here for more details.

Menu for Tuesday Pick Up (includes meals for Wednesday, Thursday, Breakfast & Lunch)

  • Hamburger on Bun, Vegetarian Beans, Salad, Fruit, Milk
  • Nacho Cheese Cup, Nacho Chips, Refried Beans, Salad, Corn, Fruit, Milk
  • Cereal, Graham Crackers, Fruit, Juice, Milk
  • 2 oz. Cereal, Fruit, Juice, Milk

Menu for Thursday Pick Up (includes meals for Friday, Monday & Tuesday, Breakfast & Lunch)

  • Pizza, Corn, Carrots raw, Fruit, Milk
  • Chicken Nuggets, Green Beans, Potato Smiles, Fruit, Milk
  • Uncrustables Sandwich, Cheese Stick, Roll, Spinach raw, Carrots raw, Fruit, Milk
  • WG Donuts, Craisins, Juice, Milk
  • Cereal, Poptart, Fruit, Juice, Milk
  • 2 oz. Cereal, Fruit, Juice, Milk
    Some food Items are frozen to reheat in microwave.

Eligible Participants for Free Community Meal Pick Up 
Meals are available for all children or students who meet the following criteria:

  • Children ages 18 years and younger, and
  • Students enrolled in a school of high school grade and under, as determined by the Texas Education Agency (TEA), including students past the age of 18 but under the age of 21 who continue to be enrolled at the school and are identified as mentally or physically disabled through a special education program or the 29 U.S.C § 70, Section 504, Rehabilitation Act of 1973. If this is the case, the student is eligible through age 21.
