The Fine Arts Academy at Tannahill and North Elementary STEAM Academy are among the highest-performing schools in Texas, according to the 2025 Honor Roll list of the state’s top-performing schools by Educational Results Partnership (ERP).

Both North STEAM and FAA were named “Star” schools, a designation awarded to schools in which at least 33 percent of students are classified as economically disadvantaged and that have outperformed their peers in closing achievement gaps—particularly among higher-poverty and historically disadvantaged student populations.

Honor Roll schools demonstrate consistently higher levels of student achievement on the STAAR reading language arts and math assessments, improvement in achievement over time, and a reduction in achievement gaps among student populations.

This year, 1,076 schools in Texas earned Honor Roll recognition, representing approximately 15 percent of schools statewide. The full list of Honor Roll schools and details on the selection methodology are available at the link.
