Here are some important reminders so we can ensure the safest and smoothest transition for our kids this first week.
Drop Off & Pick Up
Please allow extra time to drop off and pick up your student. Remember, we have construction at several schools. Be sure to check your campus communication to ensure you’re familiar with traffic flow patterns.
No Visitors During First Week
To enhance safety, we do not allow visitors the first week of school. We will have many staff members available to meet parents outside, welcome our kids, and help them at drop off; parents will not be allowed to enter the building.
Importance of Attending the First Day
It’s very important that your child attend school on the first day. As a state requirement, students who do NOT attend the first day must be withdrawn and marked as a no-show. In grades 6 through 12, the student's classes will be dropped and his/her schedule cannot be guaranteed. For elementary students, their spot at the school cannot be guaranteed.
Eating With Your Child
Lunch visitors will not be permitted until Sept. 23. Your child’s school will provide more details regarding how to sign up for lunch with your student in September. Breakfast visitors will not be allowed.
