School Health Advisory Council (SHAC)

SHAC Meetings

White Settlement ISD's School Health Advisory Council (SHAC) works to ensure that students have the knowledge and skills to develop healthy behaviors. It serves as an advisory council, providing recommendations for health education curriculum and instruction and ensuring that local community values are reflected.

This advisory group also addresses issues regarding health services, physical education, counseling and wellness, nutrition, drug and alcohol awareness, and more. The SHAC meets four times a year.

The SHAC will meet twice a year.  Interested individuals should complete the School Health Advisory Council Interest Form by Friday, Sept. 27.
